This last week we made buzzword bingo cards for Archaeology conferences. They are bingo cards filled with those phrases that are so over used at conferences that they are cliche. When I was crowdsourcing the cliches words a suggestion was made that it be turned into a Cards Against Humanity style game. If you are not familiar with the game it has been described as “a sort of Apples To Apples for the crass and jaded.” It is not something to be played in mixed company or at work but with close friends… maybe. After a little investigation I found out that Cards Against Humanity is available under a Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 2.0 license. So instead of making a CAH-like game I can make an archaeology expansion pack for CAH. Which is exactly what I did. Below are two expansion packs, one white and one black cards, that can be added to a current CAH set. They are for archaeologists specifically aimed at the TAG conference. Why TAG? Well the buzzword bingo was created to raise awareness for our efforts to film the TAG conference. Update- we reached our goal of crowdfunding- http://digventures.com/projects/archaeology-conference-survival-kit-tag-2015/.
You can print them off (backs are included) on your own or get them made on card stock here– has rounded edges and everything. As with most of my stuff it is a work in progress so let me know ways to improve them. Here are PDF versions too – be careful with paper size (its A4). And if you really want to make an entire set from scratch here are all the other CAH cards in the main set- CAH_MainGame

Great idea! Would you be able to include a link for downloading a PDF version of sheets of cards? I can’t efficiently print them on my own from the links included here. Clicking on the card pics only brings up individual .png files. Thanks!

It will take me a little while to get a sheet together. Will post it when I have it.

CAH is undoubtedly my favourite game, so seeing this Archaeology set brings together two amazing things and turns them into something of even more awesomeness. Only ___________ can beat that. đ
